2013 GLI Fixes a few shortcomings of the 2012 model

Bi Xenons!!
LED running lights
Backup camera!!
6 Way power driver Seat!!
Cooling Glovebox
ESC Off button and Launch Control!!
Adjustable front center armrest !!
Power Driver and Passenger Seat Recline


Almost every single flaw was addressed :eek: And it is now cheaper and better equipped than a comparable GTI which is getting no updates for 2013.

Perhaps... cars are always getting improved over time. :D It's good for everyone

Overtime yes but this is a huge leap in content 6 months after the model was released!

They did in fact fix a lot of the MAJOR gripes everyone was complaining about, which makes you wonder why they didn't just release it like that to begin with. :confused:

The GLI is still built in mexico though.

Yes, 2014 will probably be MK7

Now that you get much more in the 2013 GLI, I would have seriously considered getting one over the GTI.

Precisely why I never buy the first year of any newly released/remodelled/revised car...You just end up being the guinea pig/lab rat for the rest of us.

Still no leather, and it still doesn't look that good. :thumbdown:

DynAudio or the not as good Fender? Not sure because I never looked into it. :iono:
