O.Z. Ultraleggera vs. O.Z. Superturismo LM

O.Z. Ultraleggera(Black Painted) vs. O.Z. Superturismo LM(Matte Graphite Silver)

So... I've been wanting to get a set of the superturismo LMsfor a while. Basically the same ones that absoluteczech has.


Since these seem to not be in stock, and tirerack has been changing the date every two days as to when they are expected to be back in stock, I have been considering alternatives.

Ultraleggera in black as seen on MaxR's car in austrialia.


I like the idea of the black wheels, just not sure if they will look like black holes in person or whether or not they will look better in person.

Any thoughts?.. I like both. The Ultraleggera's I would be a little more worried about on the some of the roads here, but 99% of the time I am on perfectly good roads.

These would be summer only wheels, fitted with summer rubber. I will keep my denvers for winter.

Should I wait.. or just go for the black ultraleggeras?

Black wheels always look better in person, imho. You can't go wrong with either choice on the style though. Personally, I'd opt for the graphite silver.

I prefer the look of the LM. One thing to keep in mind though, the Ultra is a few lbs lighter than then LM.

I am biased, as I have the OZ Ultra's, but that would be my recommendation. As others have said, they are a little lighter than the Supers, and in my opinion, look a little more aggressive. They are also going to be easier to clean than the Supers.

FWIW, the Ultra's also come in a Matte Graphite finish, which I think looks great on CW, here is a pic of mine for reference...

yes looked at those as well.. but they are out of stock until october... :(

IMO the Superturismo LMs will look better. Well, at least for me.
I'm not sure about the weight though, which one of the two weighs less?

Well my first choice was the LMs.. I'll probably tough it out and wait for them. Just been frustrated, been waiting for months now. I like the ultraleggera's as well, just not quite as much. I plan on keeping this car for a while, so I should probably not compromise on it. Thanks for the input guys.

Worth noticing is that ET on Ultraleggera is 45 and they only come in 8x18. On Superturismo LM you have the choice of:

8x18 ET48
7,5x18 ET48
7,5x18 ET50

I guess rubbing will not be an issue on the Superturismos.

Rubbing is not a concern, they will be paired with DG spring drop, so I should be good.
The LMs are finally back in stock, going order the 18x8s tomorrow. Tire size recommended by tire rack is 225/40 18 sound right?
