After 2 months of solid research I finally made my decision on what suspension to go with. I looked at everything long and hard. I didn't want to spend more than $1300 not including install. I wanted something more performance oriented. I will be tracking this car until I find a dedicated track car/weekend toy(either e46 M3 or possibly another MK5 R32). At which point this will be my DD. I was not looking to lay frame or rub or scrape. Just a nice lowered stance. KMD did the install and they did an awesome job. I explained that I wanted the rear to be level or slight rake absolutely no reverse rake. I think that look is cheap, dumb and like you don't care about your car and you will throw any part on it just to write in your signature. When the tech first pulled it out to test drive I thought the rear was sagging ever so slight but didn't say anything. As he pulled back into the lot he drove straight on the lift to raise the back up slightly. I have to say I believe that some shops would have just delivered the car like that since it was seriously hard to notice. They also had me drive the car before settling up the bill. I live about 45 miles from their shop so I had a decent ride home but it's all highway. The ride is awesome...feels more "sporty" but not as bouncy as stock. I tried to hit every imperfection in the road and they don't crash at all in fact it feels better then stock setup. I would clinch my teeth over some bumps with the stock shit and I don't feel the need to now. I was able to take one 140 deg turn on the way home and it felt great. Turn in feels sharper and understeer has been toned down by quite a bit. To be honest I'm not in such a hurry to get sway bars now. Brake dive is non existent and feels really good. The car just stays level while stopping and doesn't rock front to back to front when coming to a normal stop. Wheel hop is 100% percent gone now. After I installed the red HPA puck it took care of 90% the problem. Car would only hop at the top of 1st gear now it's completely smooth. I contribute that to the 034 strut mounts. The picture below is all the way down in the front and about half way out back. The rears have small springs and long perches so the back could be slammed but what you see is what you get in the front. It sits perfect for me. I would 100% recommend these to anyone.
This picture kind of sucks...the ground isn't 100% level and you can see I'm parked on a storm drain. I will get some more up this week as they settle.
