Bilstein B6 or B8?

Ready to race!
So I'm about to hook up a drop with the Eibach Pro Kit springs and am basically sold on Bilsteins but cant figure out if I should get b6 (HD) or b8(sports)- assuming i'm understanding the termanology correctly lol

Definitely a DD will never be hitting up a track. Leaning towards HD but have read concerns (on other car forums-non vw) that the HD's don't go well with lowering springs. Granted the Pro Kit doesn't lower THAT much..

It's apparent from everyone that the sports are very stiff so that is a bit of a turn off. That being said I think stock is super stiff and I can feel every bump in the road as is..so going stiffer isn't likely to bother me much.

Any thoughts here? Anyone ever run B6 with lowering springs?

BTW I prefer Bilstein over Koni and I'm aware the yellows are popular. Just sayin..don't bother tellin me to get yellows!

To my understanding, B8 and B6 have the same valving, just differing in stroke and B8s are basically geared towards using with lowering springs. So I'd guess that's the one you want....

I've been looking for B6s to run with my stock setup, they are out of stock in a lot of places....

Pro kit actually does a decent drop so I would go with sports. You could get away with either but HD could make it sit a little higher. Also HD are more expensive some places and like was said they are currently out of stock most places
