Fixing Steering Noise

I got steering noise since the car was new(2011 GTI), and I couldn't find anything. :mad0259::mad0259:I went to get oil change first time in a dealership and I got it fixed, but it happened again a few days after. So I decided to leave it. :iono::iono:

Yesterday I installed my new set of wheels and I tried to locate where the noise come from.(The car had jacked up and I turned all the way left or right.) And I realized the noise came from the cv boots of the front axles.

Solution: Put a thin coat of synthetic grease on the cv boots. :wosschilder980::wosschilder980: Now the noise is gone. :thumbup::thumbup:

The cap that prevent the axle from dust. You can see them when you turn the steering all the way to the left or right. Just behind the brake system components.
