Can MK5 sideskirts fit a MK6

Hey can anyone help me with this?

Does anyone know if they fit the mk6 cuz I cnt find any 5door sideskirts that ain't VW's

Hmm.. Maybe? The factory skirts on my Mk6 are very different than the Mk5 in appearence..



But if they fit, Mk6 to Mk5 would be a nice swap.

May I ask why?

I'm assuming you have a MKV and want to port over MK6 side skirts.

OR

You see a body kit you like from the MKV and want to port over to the MK6.


My answer would be no, but I havent tried

Ahh no I have a 2010 2.0 TDI Golf mk6 and the kit I want is mk6 (RDX) but the sideskirts are 3 door and I've emailed them asking if they have 5 door ones or if they will fit a 5door.

but because the mark 5 and 6 are quite similar I'm presuming they haven't changed much?

so if the 3 door one dsent fit and they don't have a 5 door one amk5 is the way to go

if it fits I mean

Why swap it... the mrk6 GTI's sideskirts are way better than those. I've seen a similar setup on a regular Golf VI the other day...

Wheelbase length does not change between 5dr or 3dr.

Thats probably why they havent responded to you. Its in the spec sheet on VW's site.

So ur telling me I can get the 3 door mrk6 sideskirts from RDX and they will fit my 5 door I didn't want the mk5 ones just was a last choice lol
