So the 034 strut mounts were not installed with tabs in the correct position causing all kinds of clunking. The stock mounts were put back on with tabs in the correct position and that clunking went away so it is a lot more tolerable to drive. Sadly, this means I cannot say for sure if the 034 mounts were faulty because I did not test them in the correct position. This was due to time constraints. Ideally I would have tested them in the correct position before reverting to stock.

Unfortunately, there is some metal on metal clunking/tapping when going over weird terrain. I cannot yet reproduce this consistently... I think it is the sway bar hitting something ... Maybe the control arm, but not sure...

I took my car in to the dealer to diagnose the issues. I even brought my stock parts in case they couldn't get things perfect with the new struts/springs. Turns out that they just needed to tighten a few bolts. I swore we tightened everything but I guess not. In any case, my R is driving like butter. Silky smooth.

Lol I know the feeling. Didn't do it personally but installed some coilovers with the help of my cousin in-law whose a import (not euro) mechanic. Man, thanks to rust and general car wear and tear, I swear the noise in cabin has never been as quiet even with all the fixing.

I'm hoping this doesn't become a rattle-box

I have to say that the koni FSD/VWR spring combo is perfect for me. Comfort is about the same as stock but the handling is waaaaaay better. Feels more connected to the road and planted in cornering. The handling is just so responsive that I find myself swerving back and forth on straight roads just to feel it. I'm a happy dude

Took the scenic way home from a beautiful hike in NJ and found some interesting places for some snaps. Wound up at a brewery/pub that specialized in using local grown ingredients. The food was better than the beer. The flavor of the beer was fine but it seemed flat. Not sure if that's because they use old fashioned hand pumps to serve it or what...

I second this!

Was there any information about the property for sale? I'm curious to know what it was previously used for with those freestanding doors on the second and third floors.

After a fresh wash

So what's that saying? Looks good from far but far from good or something? I really need to do some serious TLC... She needs a clay/polish badly. I'm waiting to finish filling in about 20 more paint chips with Dr. Colorchip. It works well and the paint matches nicely but as others have noted, deep chips will require like ten coats to be flush with the rest of the paint. I also have some issues with the clear bra that I want to deal with. After I handle all that I'll make an appointment with a professional detailer who does Opti-Coat.

Here's a chip from the hood. I have the arm of my oakleys there to point it out.
