Guys, I am sure it has been posted somewhere in the forum on this....so i would like to apologize if I am bringing it up again.

How much boost should be get from APR tunes ?

APR Stage 1 with stock equipments ?

APR Stage 1 with intake ?

APR Stage 2 with intake and DP ?

APR Stage 2+ with intake, DP, cat-back, FMIC ?

So, some sharing would be great ?

Also, I am now wondering whether tuning via send our ECU for direct port any different from using OBD2 ports ?

Cheers.

Peak boost does not greatly change between stage 1 and stage 2 software, even when adding mods. You may see an overshoot much greater with a free flowing exhaust, intercooler and intake but it will just be a short overshoot. These vehicles are load based as well which menas boost is not one set number. Depending on environmental variables and engine operating conditions the numbers will change. Typically for the TSI you'll see around 16-18 PSI or so at boost on set. That number will hold for a bit and then start to taper towards redline. By redline you should be with in a couple PSI of 10.

Tuning the ECU through the ODBII port is only available after the car has been flashed externally the first time.

Thanks, Arin. So, it means that our cars should get somewhere between 1.06 to 1.2 bar for boost. Sorry to ask so many questions, but how can we check for boost leak ? I have a boost meter installed.

Cheers.
