2013 DE or 2014 Wolfsburg

I am about to pull the trigger on a used GTI and was wondering if it would be better to buy a 2013 drivers edition or 2014 wolfsburg because they are in the same price range. Do you guys have any other advice? My budget is 21k

Doesn't the DE have a shitton more options than the Wolfsburg, or do I have that the other way around? what are the options and mileage on each? I'd go for lower mileage if you can, but definitely consider options too.

IIRC, Drivers edition is almost as well packed as autobahn. Wolfsburg is way down near the base gti.

If you must, DE. Otherwise, mk7 PP.

I have a 13 Driver's Edition. I would definitely choose the DE for just the lighting package. The leather, Nav, sunroof, Lagunas all make it worth it.

I have a wolfsburg and can confirm, you will be happier with the DE.

I have a wolfsburg and i enjoy not having the sunroof or nav. My wolfsburg came with leather though. I do wish xeons came as a seperate option. The non Nav radio looks way better than a tacky screen imo. Nav is a gimmic.

DE is a better deal, personally I didn't like shape of the leather seats. They seemed really wide. Now if the DE had been offered with the plaid cloth seats but with leather bolsters that would have been awesome.

I think the price difference between a new mk6 Wolfburg and drivers edition was like 2500 when I bought mine, so its a pretty great deal.

you'd be silly to get a Wolfsburg. It's essentially a base model. The DE has the xenons w/ LED DRLs and AFS (means the lights turn the direction you turn the steering wheel!!!!).
