I have two door version and just noticed small pocket sized storages under the armrests (window side) for the rear seat. I began to carry my phone charger there.

i had no clue it could do that!
Its designed to keep it partially open to keep the sunroof from booming at freeway speeds.

I just noticed there is a random elastic band hanging above my gas pedal from a bracket or harness...

I think its rad when i find something new after having the car for weeks or even months! its the gift that keeps on giving, lol. gotta love VW for their almost too subtle features.

Hey! Seattle receives very little rain during the summer. One year we went 90 days with no rainfall.

It is a misconception. We have dry summers and damp winters. You can count on low clouds with drizzle and mist from Oct - May. I love Seattle weather.

1,000 miles after I owned my car i noticed that the plastic surrounding the lower front airdam is painted gray and not black. I also noticed that the glovebox has a light where my 08 GTI didn't.

I have only driven the car 3 times at night and last night transition from early evening til dark, and the fist thing i noticed was that the dials glowed (illuminated) red and i hadn't put my headlights on yet, so there must be a sensor, but the look was very cool, i like that. 2ndly i unlocked the car in the garage, got sidetracked, didn't open the doors and in a short time a minute or so the doors relocked. I have the nav system and the ipod and the SD card really work great, seamlessly.
