Installed the LED fog lights from Deautokey and they’re great. Stupid bright. I forgot to take a side shot, but driving down the middle of the street, the light hits the houses on both sides.

Installed the IE shifter bracket and bushings (thanks for the help, Geryon). After driving around with them for a while I noticed the shifts felt more solid. It didnít eliminate all the play from the knob while itís in gear, but going into gear felt a lot more firm. Overall itís a nice improvement as long as I donít think too much about how much it cost.

Rude Jr's Mk6 GTI

Someone hit my car Saturday night so that was cool to wake up to the next morning.

Before

After

Did my best to clear it up with some post-car-wash Scratch-X and Butterwet Wax.

Doesnít look too bad from a distance... (ew wheel gap)

Closeup of the damage.

Iím sorry to hear that. I canít know for sure, but it looks like from the pictures you just have a bit of rubber or paint transfer left. If so, a clay bar should take care of it, followed by polish and wax because the clay bar will usually leave holograms.

Thank you, I'll give the clay bar a try!
