Rattle when coming to stop and during coldstart

This is NOT the infamous waste gate rattle or timing chain rattle. This rattle is coming from the driver side of the car, most likely coming from the dsg. Sounds like a marble being tossed around in a soda can. What’s the solution to this problem and how much would it cost to fix it. Thanks )

Try getting under the car with its running to pinpoint the sound as many things can cause rattles. A failing DMF in the DSG does have the marbles in a can sound though try looking up vids of bad DMFs on youtube theres a bunch of videos. Also heat shields touching something or a bad flex pipe on a downpipe can causing a rattle too.

No, this doesn’t sound the same. I ended up putting a quarter of a bottle of dsg fluid in and slapped a dsg tune on and haven’t heard it as much since. The only way I hear it now is when I’m backing up my driveway (which is inclined). That and a little slippage between shifts from 3-4 and 4-5 is the only problems I deal with now.
