I'm sure the housing market is nuts right now out in chicago, but has it reached the point where people might buy a burned out house for 400k? Average home price in this town is about 720k, based on a quick check....

My parents had a house in a very desirable neighborhood back in the day. The taxes were getting crazy bc everybody was tearing houses down and rebuilding them. Somebody knocked on the door one day wanting to buy it. They tore the whole thing down except for one wall, and now it's worth like 900k.

My friend was trying to talk me into moving back to Florida. Then I found out he would be getting a large referral bonus and I wouldn't get anything lol. He claimed he'd split it with me but... you know how that goes. Meh

Job market is hot around me. I switched jobs about 6 months ago. Day shift and I have days off, it’s amazing

I dealt with the hurricanes before, at least you know well in advance that it's coming. Unlike a tornado which could just basically pop up in your yard lol
