Meanwhile, in the neighborhood of make believe...

Odds that this scientist also moonlights as a German pornographer?
I believe it should be Gallons and Gallons of research.

This is better information from a pornographer over a scientist. What is a pornographer? Do you have to create or just watch? (asking for a friend)

and under V for Victory I am getting a free phone that is a size I can work with. They kept wanting to give me this Ginormous one. It's a cheap one but a replacement for my 5/6 YO free cheap one.

Knew a guy at my old place of employment that did this with his 4Runner. He waited over 8 months for the shop to finish it and they had his truck for over half of that time. After they finished his truck, I worked there for one more year before I left the company and he camped once in that time.

Interestingly enough, I never really saw people like this on the trail. But how many people mod their cars, and never see a track day?

Lol indeed. I'm not modding my truck, aside from the tune. It'll probably never see a trail unless you count the gravel road at the track leading up to the paddock.

the amount of time I spent modifying my car because I thought it wasn't "good enough" for autocross, only to finally start and find that I was getting raw timed by stock econoboxes, was absolutely mind blowing.

These days I'm still getting raw timed by stock econoboxes, but at least I know so much better now how much fun I missed out on

Absolutely true, and the most frustrating part is they're always the nicest and most humble folks

I wish I had gotten into motorsports the moment I got my license, rather than waiting 8+ years (and getting into a bunch of automotive trouble in the meantime). I could've saved myself so much money on tickets. But my wife and I are both heavily involved in our local SCCA region now, and date night has become 'wings after racing night'

Honestly I’d recommend something with your rear springs. The Wheelers/Dever/etc three-leaf-add-a-leaf, also called the progressive add-a-leaf will up your bed capacity beyond the factory spec 43lbs of cargo. It’ll bump you to 100-200lbs of capacity. If you are towing or carrying a real heavy load with any regularity, I’ve had amazing success with rear bags.

sucks that I have a TON of work into the taco, that I actually use, and I’m often looked at like one of the instaqueens. Well, except for my winch, I’ve used it a handful of times, never once to recover myself. Mostly to move shit out of the trail or yank idiots out of ditches.

Folks took my license at age 17 and made me put myself through Skip Barber, after I dumbassed myself into a ditch. I started Autox and SSB when u was about 2yrs into driving. Also worked as a chassis engineer for a NATCC later WC T2 team for a bit there. Have a couple local wins killing cones, but never was that good. I was too broke at the time to even afford goodish rubber. Learned early on… there’s always someone faster. Ran an event more recently, I’ll stick to track events.

I'll see how it does when I tow with it. What do you mean bed capacity being 43lbs?
