  • Hey Arin, I've got a couple questions for you, on two topics you're probably sick of hearing about. lol. 1. Any updates on the new Stage1/2 file? 2. Any word on an APR Mobile Android release? Thanks, and sorry for the same pesky questions. ><
I just went stage 2 and I am still getting a CEL for the third o2 sensor. Codes are p0042 and p0043. It was done at world volkswagen in toms river and they said that I shouldn't be getting the CEL anymore. What do you think I need to do?
Trying to order a Carbonio intake on APRs website but it's on backorder....can't find when it will be back in stock...any ideas? Thx.
When is the next time you will be having a sale on your stage I software? Will you be local to me?

I work for a VW dealer here in New York and a competing dealer has APR tuning capabilities. I asked for a quote for my 13 GLI CBFA and they gave me full retail price plus 300 dollars labor for the job. I'm a VW master tech and the shop foreman, i'm not an idiot. The ECM is RIGHT THERE.

If you will be having a sale and an event somewhat local to me I would have no problem driving out or bringing my ECM to you.

    Thanks, Chris

BTW, your PM box is full....
    Arin,

I currently live Germany with a 2012 GTI which is U.S. spec vehicle. Question is could I get stage 1 tuned from Germany APR HQ.
DarianBx3, it's not available for this model. We don't have any plans to make it available at this time.
    Arin,

I am not seeing a direct answer anywhere I look. Is my 2013 Driver's Edition GTI (DSG) compatible with the direct port programming? If not, are there future plans to implement it?

    Thank you,
    Darian

Hi arin. I'm currently running stage 2 with apr stage 1/2 intake and apr down pipe. I would like to go with a turbo upgrade. I'd like to get the best bang for my buck so what would my options be. I see stage 3 and 3+ on the website but wonder what other upgrades are required to go with those e.g. Inter cooler, or internals. Or should I stick with the 2+. Every stop light is a race for me. I drive over 100 every day in the summer. I know not safe or recommended. Just want you to know I love driving my car and feeling the power. I would love to do a couple track events each year. Also I live in Chicago area. So hot humid summers and cold winters. Thanks in advance for your advice. Mike

Forgot to mention. I have a 2010 gti with dsg trans. Currently have 38000 miles
These codes usually come about when there's a leak in the exhaust system.

Google MK6 GTI, P2196 and P2096 and you'll find others with the same codes, fixed once the leaks were spotted and removed. Typically they are at the slip joints.
Hey Arin, Im currently apr stage 2 with apr's high flow cat, and I keep getting these codes. I thought stage 2 would prevent these codes? Please help!
