does the outlet pipe fit well?

Hey man, I read your aquamist install page. Mine HFS4 arrived today. If you don't mind I have a couple questions.
1. In the diagram for the BCV, it say to cut and splice for MK5 only. Does this apply to MK6 as well?
2. The purple wire to dim the gage, it says to tap the headlight for this. Do you know which wire it is?
