Help please! Code P0597

Hey everyone, I have a problem I'm getting error code P0597: Thermostat Heater Control Circuit Open- status: static in OBDEleven car is not overheating, or anything the temp gauge reads operating temperature and car runs perfectly fine. I also went ahead and checked if I was getting abnormal temps, but it seems everything is fine.

Recently I just replaced the whole thermostat housing & gaskets thinking that would be the solution to the problem, and the CEL would go away but nothing. I have attempted clearing codes, but the problem continues after starting the car.

Might have a short in the wiring somewhere to the thermostat

The sensor might have come unplugged as well.

Thank you guys, how would I go about fixing this? It's def something wire related. Checked sensor it's plugged in.

check the wiring to the thermostat, see if you can see breaks in the harness. Could be a short anywhere. Test the plug voltage too
