I've got the 09G 6spd Auto with paddles, so I can't speak to the DSG - but I believe there quite a few kits you can pick up. Quick google:

I'll probably have to. Not quite there yet. I just know for my application I'll buy the tool once and it'll sit in my garage for 5 years before I use it again.
