Unitronic Stage 2 + Tune

Has anyone done the unitronic stage 2 + tune on their 1.8? I want to have a good quality sound. Planning on IS38 turbo as well as down pipe and many more things. But, I want to make sure I get the best bang for my buck tune wise.

Search generally works well.

From what I've gathered, uni is heavy on timing. Their home flashing and upgrade path works better than [is more convenient than] dealing with a dealer network.

I can't speak from experience on uni specifically since I'm self tuned.

From my experience, if you want the best best bang for buck with the mods you have in mind, skip all the "stages" and go to the IS38 from the get go. I would have saved time and money had I done that originally.

I have a 2018 1.8 auto 09G stage 2 IS20 Unitronic with Uni DP and GTI catback + valance. Very nice sound, not too loud. And no issues at all with the IS20 tune, excellent for daily driving.
If you plan for an IS38, only if DSG or manual. Uni does not have an IS38 tune for the auto 09G.
