I just change my oil like a god damn man. I chock the rear wheels, I jack the car up, I put it on jack stands, and then I turn it up to 11 and get under the car where I might even get dirty
I got this one. I got it on sale before I had to do my first oil change after I got the skid plate.
I noticed that they have one that is only a few dollars more that gives you the option to hook it up to air instead of pumping it manually.

After we thawed out from the deep freeze we got here down south, I did an oil/filter change (like a man! ), fuel filter change, swapped out the interior overhead bulbs for LED, and put in yellow high output fog bulbs.
Warm enough yesterday to finally install my Sprint Booster v3. I love the older version I have in my 996, so I decided it would be a good addition to the GTI. Have not taken it out, so nothing to report yet.
Really just in love with this Mk7 wheel – the more I drive, the better it all looks. Seriously brings the interior forward by at least 5 years, imo.
I'm lucky my CECM played nice with the wheel controls/lighting. I know some have not had the same luck.
