I have to ask is the catch can and Afrika plate better or worse for the engine than just running the standard pcv? The catch can kit I was going for is out of stock anyway and my pcv is failed so I ordered a replacement. Just wondering for future mods.

i tried to figure out what a hose is for.......

I'm new to modding and want to install a catch can the only issue i'm having is that my MK6 has a hose mounted to the engine mount where catch cans are normally mounted at. Does anyone know what this hose is for and if there is a way to mount both? I've only found a few images of the hose online...
