This is preety cool. I have esp deleted through the steering angle coding so it's permanently off all the time. But this would be cool for those who want the option. Does xds still work with this?

Since the steering sensor is not disabled, XDS should work normally.

Question for you folks where the setting took.

For BYTE 16 what were the Binary codes before and after the setting took???

The binary number is a 8 number number made of 0 and 1.

I am curious to see if the binary code can give us a clue where this setting hides in the AH module.

So I have a BG pump and I was able to do the code change! However, I can't tell if it's fully disabled or not..

I can checkk the binary codes for you in the AM.

EDIT: I should clarify that I don't have the two stage of just TCS then ESP.

When I do disable it, I get that ESP is disabled. However, when I turn it back on, I get "TCS/ESP is active". Before changing the code, it didn't say that when re-enabling ESP/TCS.

EDIT2: OK! so the code change DID work! I know cause as I was looking up the binary codes, I decided to switch back to my original coding, but no two stage disabling.

B6 = TCS Deactivated - TCS is Active

VS

3C = ESP Disabled - TCS/ESP is Active

NP! I actually couldn't wait so I went ahead and got the binaries.

3C - 00111100

B6 - 10110110

B7 - 10110111

Another thing to note is that I have TPMS checked but Hillhold Assist Uninstalled. If I have Hillhold Assist installed the code goes from B6->B7

No man, I am actually hitting the hay, so I will try to continue tomorrow... Since B7 was your stock setting I want to look in all the other bytes, a binary that looks like your stock one... If that makes sense. Thinking of that, since this byte does take care of the hill hold and tpms, maybe it would be good to have the binary of the byte when both are disabled, yet stock...if that makes any sense.

Not a problem and yea, that makes sense. I've added the binary for B7 in my previous post.

Binary of the following. I need to check it again, but I think 3D has hill hold and tpms enabled. 39 I can't recall, but if someone can verify for me since Im at work, if it had hillhold and tpms both disabled, both had ESP disabled with a button press.

On the 2010 mine said B5 before the change. I do have indirect TPMS and hill hold enabled using 3D.
