I'm having trouble with the light situations, I got the euro switch and aftermarket fogs, I'm trying to run the fog and city light as DRL, but every time I switch to the "><" position on the switch, the Low Beam turns on and those aftermarket fog doesn't work unless its on the "=D" position......so Frustrating!

Not to take away from the tremendous amount of work you have put into your golf, because it really is nicely done, but I have to ask... Why didn't you grab a GTI?

Because at the time, I was looking at both the gti and golf, and the price for a gti was ridiculously marked up. I just wasn't feeling justified enough to pay almost $15,000 more for a car that had 30 hp extra. This 2 door golf had a wait time of 3.5 months and the cars on the lot were all base models. I wanted a sunroof and better seats. The gti was $49,500 + tax CAD. $51,xxx with the later arriving RNS510, which I wanted but couldn't get in the golf. thats more than the current golf R... This golf also costed more than your golf R as well, if we did a currency change. Canadian cars are almost 30% vs the states.

I do like perfomance, but I just wanted to make the golf more unique, and the mod bug took over.. If I get a faster vw, I'll ride stock again for a bit and make some crazy mods for sure haha

Wow. Can't believe the amount of work you put into your Golf, it's a gorgeous car. Tastefully done too. I'm in for any updates haha. The stickers are done perfectly, and the quad exhaust looks awesome too! :thumbup:
