14.1 Gallon Fillup

Last I checked the Mk6 has a 13.5 gallon tank (unlike the pitiful 12 gal Mk7). However it seems we have an extra bit more

Ah ha! Looks like the Mk7 is 13.2. That explains where 9lbs of weight savings went with the new gen.

12.9 before gas light comes on indicating you have a 2 gal reserve left.

This. I fill up really close to where the dashed red comes into play. Ive never run her empty or anywhere near the bottom line. Ive maybe gotten to the middle of the red once.

the fuel filler neck can hold an additional half gallon I believe. I have filled up with 14.8 before.
