19’ Cadiz on Stock Golf 2.5 I5

Hi there, I’m new and did some searching before posting but could not find the answer. I have a CDN Golf 2.5 and I just purchased a set of 19” Golf R Cadiz. Will these fit or have I wasted my money?
If they fit, will the car look like it’s ready to tackle the off-road and begging for a lowering setup?
Thanks a bunch

19"x8" with ET50 offset? Wouldn't that be pretty close to the struts? What tire are you planning to run with those?

Again, they'll bolt on NO ISSUES

MK5/MK6/MK7 OEM wheels are all interchangeable (brake size being a limitation though).
Those specs might be 5mm closer to the strut, versus a 18" MK6 GTI wheel, but the tried & true 18x8.5 ET45 wheel would be 7mm closer to the strut for example and we all know that fits. Just for comparison

Nice find dude(tte)

There's a decently active 2.5 Golf Thread on here with a few Canadians like myself. Any questions...shoot. Also lotsa great reading and info on the boards. Enjoy...can't wait to see em on and lowered!!

Also that rust on your front fenders should be a slam dunk for the rust perforation warranty.....ask me how I know;)

Thanks everyone for the help! They went on with no issues. I checked all the clearances and it went perfect!

I didn’t figure this was worth chasing and just ordered two new fenders. Can you provide me with more details? Thanks!

Looks great. The rust perforation claim has to be started online....its a form like THIS ONE(example). Contact your dealership of choice. Mine wasn't even remotely as bad as yours. It's a very common issue, more so on TDi's I think because of the grit and debris that gets wedged between the foam insulation and the panel...it etches the paint and eventually exposes bare metal. They'll take some pics and sent it in to Volkswagen Canada. I was in a shop two weeks later picking up my car, lost it for 2 days I think.
