@Roadrunner_GTI , any recommendation for the oil cooler - model and radiator placement? Ty
I ran a Setrab 19 row, you can buy on Amazon here. I paired it with a Mocal thermostatic oil filter sandwich plate and -10AN braided lines. Another option is the iAbed oil cooler adapter plate, which replaces the factory oil cooler and I think is a cleaner install. It also doesn’t require you to run a different oil filter. The downside is that it requires you to remove the intake manifold to install it.

Figured after 10 years it was time for a front end refresh. Osram Xenarcs, eBay fog light grills, deAutoLED switchback fog lights, and a euro switch w/trigger wire to enable parking lights.

So far no light out indicators, and I’m still fine tuning the height adjustment. Overall the cut off lines on these Osrams is phenomenal.

Car is still chugging along, it mainly serves as daily duties these days. Did make another trip to Tail of the Dragon for Wookies this year. Since I’m not tracking the car anymore I decided to remove the Ground Control camber plates over the winter, and replaced them with new strut mounts / bearings. Car rides much smoother now is just about perfect for spirited mountain driving over typical VA/NC roads.

Currently running 17s with MPSAS4 tires, though I toy with the idea of getting a set of 18s for dedicated summer tires. I’m not looking forward to the decrease in ride quality with 18s though, so I’m still on the fence.

Wow, that's some serious downshifting! no ability to dial in any camber at all - not even equal on both sides
Is it such a big difference in NVH?

Also sits fairly low, are you running 225 width tire?

I had GC camber plates paired with SuperPro RCA ball joints and had full ability to adjust camber. For daily street use I found the camber plates pretty harsh, especially sudden impacts and road transitions. I eventually removed them and now I’m just running the SuperPro ball joints. They still provide camber adjustment, just not as much. Perfect for equaling out camber though. And the picture taken above was when I had the car loaded up for a track day, so it’s lower than it normally sits. I run 225/45r17 tires.

Rode out to Fastivus at Summit Point this weekend. Took the opportunity to hit Skyline Drive for the first time in a while.

I’ve been getting a P2015 CEL for a few months so I bit the bullet and decided to replace the intake manifold with an updated version. Took the opportunity to do a walnut blast carbon cleaning, replace the spark plugs, and install a new lower radiator hose to fix a slow leak. Job went relatively smooth and the throttle response feels much better on the low end with the runner flaps functioning and new plugs. One thing I did notice is that I have an occasional random misfire at idle while logging misfire counts in VCDS. It’s not enough to trigger a CEL, and from what I’m reading it’s pretty normal. Just me being paranoid more than anything probably.
