26LBS rims

I understand it's best to run lightweight rims, I have 26LBS Audi rims (17inch), would you run these on a VW GTI/MK6?

Not sure what my current setup is (the weight of my current wheels excluding tires, I'm running 18 inches)

Most people say to keep it below 20LBS....(per wheel).

Do you think 26LBS rims will hurt the car?

Great list! We're looking for a good set of tires and wheels for the new MK6 project. ET51 and Continentals look like a good combo.
