Anybody use micro jump starters

My good friend owns a small used car lot and has one of these things. I called BS when he brought it out to jump a car but it did fire the car right up. I was impressed.

I've used one before on my car. It took a few seconds of sitting on the terminals to start the car, but it did get me moving.

I keep one in my car now just in case.

I'm thinking about going with a smaller battery and I feel it would be wise to invest in a micro jump starter. Has anyone had experience with them?

I just watched a video ECS tuning has on their site for the schwaben micro kit and it looks like a cell phone but somehow they claim and showed that you can pull the battery out of the car and hook this thing up and it'll start her right up. It's pretty cool. I have a big black and decker jumper/air compressor/power inverter/ flashlight/sub port charger thing from Home Depot. It works flawlessly and it's only about $100.

I own a microstart and have used 5-6 times now. No issues, I just set a reminder to check charge every 3months.

I would highly recommend getting one.

I have not use micro jump starters but I use the Gooloo. The Gooloo item is one sleek-looking jump starter. Like many of these products, it is both a jump starter and power bank that adds to its everyday functionality. It is a simple yet reliable jump starter that conquers any issue you might face on the road with ease.

Just don't hook it up backwards... Lol. Did this once by accident. Was in a hurry trying to get a car moved when it had just started to rain. It didn't go well. Small fire, LOTS of smoke, couple melted plastic pieces

I have the Noco GB40. Jump started a friends Camry that was dead with no issues. This thing is supposed to jump start a diesel pickup truck and it’s compact. Works for me 👍
