anyone running APR Runner Flap Delete?

My Runner flaps are going bad and I'm thinking of just going with the RFD from APR rather than replacing the manifold. I'm currently APR stage 1. anyone have experience with this kit?

One concern I have is that I may want to switch to an IE tune down the line and they currently don't offer RFD software to my knowledge. Would I have to get a custom tune or buy one of their manifolds to switch?

IE offers an aftermarket manifold, so I can't imagine why they wouldn't offer RFD software. I would follow up with them to be sure. Otherwise you're stuck with UM.

I'm pretty sure the APR RFD is only for the EA113 engine type found in the Golf R and not the EA888 on the MK6 GTI.

Thanks, I already know that it will work with my car. I just want to know if anyone here has experience with the kit and could provide some pro’s & cons.
