Sure. It's perfectly safe and legit, but a lot of it is "you get what you pay for".

AliExpress and TEMU are two different animals. While TEMU is guaranteed to do something nefarious with your information, Ali is a bit better.

Whenever dealing with unknown or foreign vendors, I'd always use a separate card that I wouldn't mind shutting down and I'm very careful about what information I give them.

After my last issue with AE I learned that paypal doesn't really offer any protection in terms of buyer protection. Since it's a "third party" they force you to work it out directly with the vendor and whatever the vendor gives you is what you get.

At least with a CC I can just dispute the charge and that's that.
