Looks like a higher end version of the GTI. This might be my next car when it hits the US.

dudemanz, your post confuses me since the A3 has a 3 door version overseas just not in the US.

something about the 2 door doesn't sit well with me. It kind of looks like a midget. The 4 door looks really nice though.

This is what I've read as well. Sedan only for the US and a year or so after release an S3 model with an engine shared with the next Golf R.
