Want to add a backup camera to my 2011 GTI. I’ve found kits with the OEM emblem camera assembly and electrical harness. But it seems to be only compatible with Nav equipped models. Is that true?
If it’s true that I need to have navigation to pull this off, is upgrading to navigation as simple as swapping the head unit? Asking because I’ve seen Nav head units super cheap on EBay.
