ECS sent me all the parts in a shitty plastic bag, every video I've seen shows a nice GFB box.

Sounds like you got a used/rejected part there, which is complete B.S., sorry to hear.
Was it full price too, or discounted (scratch & dent) btw?

Man that's bogus. Definitely gonna avoid them in the future if i can.

So i took out the DV and it actually seems to be working fine... no rubbing or friction. I put it back in and all of a sudden im getting tons of boost, anywhere from 17 to 19 psi.

But now theres a different problem lol... the intake sounds like absolute garbage. If im really goosing it then let off the pedal, it emits this awful, hollow-log type of noise.

So im gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling the intake cuz i have no idea what else to do

You meant you took out the GFB DV+, right?

If so....yeah the intake noise is normal & gonna happen, especially with an open intake like the Unitronic one.
The DV+ is "supposed" to cure/get rid of that noise

Man that's frustrating... full price too, think I paid 140.

But yeah I took out the GFB, plunger seemed to be moving smoothly so I slapped er back in and voila, many boost pressure. But now the intake occasionally sounds like shit.

I just cant win argh!!
