It wouldn't be the first all white Reggae band I've seen.

Take notes from @GTIfan99 - radiator could make for great shoe rack in your room.@jay745 I don't mean to be a shitty buyer, it's just a question of "is this going to be installed soon, or will it sit as a paperweight for a year" and how much expendable income I have with the recent job change + relo.
If the car doesn't have any major problems when I fire it up tomorrow to shake it down, I'll buy the rad, but if I need to fix some shits, and possibly have to order some parts, the rad wouldn't be the brightest decision.
Got roped into going to a “reggae fest” a couple weeks back. It was at a suburban brewery in an affluent coastal town. All the bands were white. One of them even co-opted a thick patois for his between songs banter. At least they didn’t have dreads. That I've been to? Clubbing in RI years ago 2/3 bands were all white. Me and this other dude stopping rednecks from stomping kid then helping dude find his partial teeth thing.
Did get to see Shaggy as b/up singer for Jah Rule, also Yellowman in Jamaica. Shag's version of Summertime is fine

White people with their golden retrievers and Vineyard Vines outfits talking about how much they “love reggae”
hated myself for being there.
i aint gonna gatekeep someone from listening to it but i sure as shit will about creating itimagine gatekeeping music based on color/ethnic background
you can be enthusiastic about whatever music you want, and I don't really see a problem if it's genuine. Granted the lyrical content will probably be different to maintain that authenticity, but nonetheless.
Seems kinda silly IMO. Like, it's a musical style. Nobody is saying it has to be accepted as a good example of said style, but if someone wants to make music in a style they like, then I see nothing wrong with that. Benn Jordan/The Flashbulb is a great example of this, lots of EDM but he's talented and comes out of nowhere with some great piano albums, etc.i aint gonna gatekeep someone from listening to it but i sure as shit will about creating it

Homie was dating my friend back in the day, he's very talented. We used to go to his house for private sets after partiesBenn Jordan/The Flashbulb is a great example of this, lots of EDM but he's talented and comes out of nowhere with some great piano albums, etc.
