insuring our 2018 tiguan: $75 per month\
insuring the mk5 gti and pretty much every car i've had, give or take: ~$75 a month, maybe it was a little more for the b8 s4 and mk7r. but very consistantly my whole monthly bill has hovered around 150-175 for the last several yars.
but adding the 2016 tiguan? ~$175 per month, making our total monthly ~$250
was on the line with my insurance guy for like 2 hours over the last few days. there is nothing they can do. i am literally as a complete loss, and now my insurance is $100 more per month than it used to be. didn't lose multi car discount, multi line discount, same coverage we've always had, same drivers, no new accidents, like what the fuck?

now instead of my super neat flat 8 hour a day job, where i go to one job site a day, hang out there and bill half of my other hours, i gotta do a 'drive around the world every day' thing where that will certainly not be the case anymore.

I paid $300 month for insurance in 92 for my new GTI. I had a bunch of tickets. It went down the next year when I bought the Corrado, because tickets dropped off and I could get covered by a normal insurance company.
I have no idea what I pay now, but I know our entire insurance bill, home, both cars, umbrella policy, flood, etc. Is just under $600 month, but I live in Florida, where home insurance is 4x the national average and climbing.
