We have similar import rules in Canada, my buddy had a 240 RHD drift car that was seized and crushed after they decided it was too modified for import.

dhs just needs to royaly go fuck off, i hate the fact that they are truly above the law in many instances. The import law is ridiculous too, IMO; if people can legally import themselfs into this country, we should be able to import any vehicle we want.

Update!
My friend got a call from the lawyer handling this and he is getting his rig back!
Looks like DHS was wrong and now must return it.
The bummer part is he had to take time off work and get questioned like a criminal by some government dick. What a waste of his time and my tax dollars.
