Do You Wear Your Seatbelt?

How many fatal/serious accidents do you read and hear "...was ejected from the vehicle"? Hearing the ding dong is more annoying than a strap around your ribs anyways, I just wear it and have ever since I can remember. Although I have to admit, I'm the type of guy who wears a helmet on a bike only trail too.

2 years ago on the 30th of the month my aunt passed away when she was thrown from her own car which was spinning out of control and then ran her over...if you don't wear one just start, any reason you come up with about why you don't we will all come up with a thousand reasons why you should...

Its in off-topic for a reason.The common sense aspect of wearing your seat belt makes this a dumb topic but there are a lot more people out there than you might think that don't wear their belts. I'd honestly like to hear a solid argument from anyone who doesn't wear their belt all the time. Did you skip basic physics in High School?

I knew far too many people in College that refused to wear a seat belt and so far they're somehow all still around.

At a point, I would wear it on and off, no particular reason really, just whenever I felt like it.

Then, one day, my little 5 year old, on the way to dropping her to school said to me, 'Daddy, I always wear my seatbelt but you wear it sometimes, please wear it, i dont want to see you get hurt'. Seriously, I felt like crying, someone so little and simple would think in that respect, so I just wear it since then, no compromise.

I had a 96 maxima and am 6'5". I don't think it was really a malfunction as much as how far back I had to sit+ forward resistance from my hand on the steering wheel. I cracked the windshield not the side window. Also I do wear a seat belt rarely, only when I'm racing or driving in an extremely aggressive manner.

your height may have something to do with it, but your head shouldn't / wouldn't have hit the windshield with a seatbelt on.

I ate the top of the steering wheel in my '82 Scirocco right before my forehead made a dome in the windshield. I've worn one ever since.

Unfortunately, many of them reproduce at age 14 before the world gets a chance to kill them off.
