Agreed!
I almost bought a '05 SRT-4 (new) back in the day, but I couldn't dump my Dakota that I had.
Won't ever happen, but I still would love a nice/clean/unmolested SRT-4 if I could find one.
The short lived Caliber SRT-4 on the other hand, not bad, but I still like the original SRT-4 way better
The Caliber is OK. I see some kids around town who make them look OK, slamming it to the ground and whatnot. This one kid actually plastidipped the entire car silver and it looked cool.
But the neon in my eyes is the true SRT4 due to the higher performance numbers it offered despite less HP on paper, and it sounds like one mean mofo. I had so many people that would tell me to give it a rev when I was just driving around town and people saw me on the streets or coming out of stores.
Was so much fun. But yes, to find an unmolested one these days is probably near impossible. Also, if you find one that you think looks stock, it's most likely been put back to stockish when in reality, it's probably seen more track life than you could imagine. My buddy did that with his white one. He even had a new cluster he threw in it to dial back the miles a few and his car was realistically worth around 8k at the time, and he made 12k when he sold it to an uninformed father.
