There is a circular object mounted underneath the glove to the left of where my passengers legs would be. I will post a pic of it soon, but does anyone have any idea of what it may be? I drive a 2012 GTI Autobahn.

If it's plastic and goes through that 1/16" insulation thing that hangs in there with two plastic screws, it's probably the HVAC pipe there that heats and cools the foot area on the passenger side, that's round
