DSG Stutter/Jerk low speed or incline

Hi,
I’m having similar issues to this thread. Will this work for my golf R32 mk5 2009?
I get jerking & slipping from a stop whilst taking the foot of the brake. It is quite bad during stop and start traffic conditions. DSG works great in all other conditions. The issue happens 3/10 times. If you could shed some light on this issue would be great !

thanks
Kevin
Can't hurt to run dsg adaptation. Also when was the last time dsg fluid was changed?

I got my mechanic to do a DSG service last week & reset the DSG. It didn’t work, but then again he didn’t use specialised Volkswagen adaptation. I think he just reset the DSG with a universal system.. I think Volkswagen have a specific system & the latest adaptations for the car. What do you think ?

The DSG oil was a litre down before he did the service so we assumed it was this that was causing the issues. I have only driven it once home since then and it still did the same jerking from a stop.

Is it worth me buying the system & adapting the DSG myself ? Or is it cheaper to take it to Volkswagen ?

thanks
Kevin

Probably cheaper to buy vcds or obd11 and do the dsg adaptation yourself.

Trans needs to be up to operating temp when you do it. And car needs to be on a level surface.

Miles on the car/transmission? If it was running that low on fluid for an extended period of time... Clutchpacks or something might be smoked anyways.

I still haven't seen proof from official sources that the pedal dance trick even does anything to the DSG. Everything is just copied and pasted from various forums and there's a few different "versions" of the process out there. I heard people say they heard noises from the trans after doing it but wondering if they were mistaking the noise from the auto throttle body adaptation you hear when the car is off and ignition on after sitting for a moment.

I've tried it for shits and giggles, zero difference, no sounds. It's definitely not the VCDS DSG readaptation that's for sure.

This is the TB adaptation sound that i'm talking about that people may be mistaken for their trans doing something when they tried this.

The sound and feel the car makes when you do the VCDS adaptation is totally different, and you can feel the trans shaking as mechatronic operates during its adaptation process.
