EPC light and check engine light came on and car starts shaking, thoughts on what it could be?

Was on a drive and shifted into 4th and felt a little bump, EPC light came on and check engine light was flashing. I pull over and eventually CEL goes off but EPC light is still on, car is shaking occasionally on acceleration (noticeable on the throttle). After I park I go outside and it definitely feels like some heavy rattling/shaking going on. What do you guys think this could possibly be? Thanks

Get a code reader for your OBD2 port and run a scan. Something that happened to me was a coil pack went out on me so my car went into ”limp mode”. if That’s them there easy to replace and not to expensive. Now I keep a spair in the car at all times

Scan the car, buy a scanner tool and keep it with you. It helps. Especially when you own a VW/Audi vehicle.
