Faults after aftermarket head unit installation

Recently installed an android head unit into my mk6 golf and everything works fine however I have received a couple faults to do with the phone and gateway. I’m new to all this but here’s what came up in the OBD II scan:

There is no such thing as a “standard” android head unit, there are dozens of them. Do you have a brand and model number? Does everything work correctly as far as phone calls, carplay/android auto?

My best guess without seeing the install is that since you’re using the built in mic, the OEM mic is disconnected and showing an open circuit.

Appreciate the replies gijoewoz, would you know where the mic wiring is located or how I could code it in or something?
