Good stuff here...those VWR mounts are so tempting but I'm sure there'll be more NVH relative to the 034 street density subframe mounts right?

Edit: the 034 subframe mounts are new so they were never installed. Never mind haha. I have the 034 subframe mounts currently installed and was wondering what you thought of the VWR mounts.

The VWR was excellent. I went over to Vibra Technics to try out the rubber counterpart. Almost no NVH, but it definitely allows more engine movement than the VWR.

Solidity: VWR -> Vibra -> HPA
NVH: Vibra -> VWR -> HPA

From what I understand, 034 subframe mounts create a lot of NVH.

You're the first guy to compare the new VWR and old VWR/Vibra mounts to my knowledge. Can you elaborate on the difference in engine movement and nvh? Does the Vibra mount provide decent engine control over stock?

Thanks for the info. Really considering the VWR mounts...

The Vibra is way better than stock. Here are the configurations I've tried:

SPM Eng, Trans + HPA Subframe (Way too much NVH)
Stock Mounts + HPA (Very little NVH)
034 Mounts + HPA (Little NVH, Pretty Ideal)
034 Mounts + Dogbone + VWR (Least engine movement - very solid, same NVH as before)
034 Mounts + Vibra (Least NVH, between HPA and VWR for engine movement)

I am super sensitive to NVH so I stuck with Vibra and stock dogbone.

Thanks for that. Going to send a pm.

This deserves a thread of its own. Good info. I too am sensitive to drone and vibes, so it looks as though I'm shooting for the Vibratronics and 034 street setup.

For the 034 dogbone you have rubbed on subframe. Is that a known issue or was a one of? To the best of your knowledge

It didn't seem to be a known issue when I talked to 034. Just my combination of mounts and possible because of loose downpipe hangars.

Wait, what is this rubbing you speak of? I've been having weird vibrations decelerating at low revs

The 034 dogbone was rubbing on the subframe whenever I took right turns. It wasn't slight weird vibration, it was like a massage chair. That's why one side looks more chewed up than the other. 034 assured me this wouldn't happen with their newest revision motorsport engine and transmission mounts or their subframe mount.
