Golf R DRL problem

Hello everyone.

I have a 2011 Golf MK6R and it has a problem with the DRLs. Whenever I turn the ignition on and start the car, both of the DRLs turn on and after roughly 5-10 seconds, the driver side DRL turns off. However, when I turn the light switch to the parking lights, both turn on, but are dimmed, as they should. Now when I turn back to OFF position, both of the DRLs turn on again, and after 5-10 seconds, the driver side DRL turns off again.

I had the exact same issue. There are 3 wires at the connector of the LED DRL. Jump the outside wires to each other and your problem will be solved.

So those outside wires would be spliced together while still being plugged into both lights ?
