You can try to submit a claim and get reimbursed but I don't think many people have luck with self repair claims. I tried when they did a recall for the ABS module but receipts for parts I bought wasn't enough for them and it was denied. Would probably work if a shop did it.
Theoretically if you disconnect the vacuum line on the intake manifold flapper solenoid then go drive it around for a little bit you'll pop the p2015 code. You could theoretically plug it in again before you take it in .
