Help: 4 ways stuck on + no turn signals

Good afternoon everyone really stuck on this one, I am almost done with a gti I picked up that was wrecked (no air bags deployed) have it about all back together but from the day I picked it up the hazzards stay on when the car is off and I have no turn signals at all. They just blink really fast like a bulb would be out. I have checked every fuse, had a guy come with vcds and he was stumped as well, no lights on at all on the dash. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What year is it? No lights on dash as in it doesn't light up at all? Or no warning lights?
Sorry about that it’s a 2012 and everything lights up as it should car runs and drives fine but hazzards are just stuck on even with the key off switch is good. If you were to hit the switch you hear the auditable normal clicking relay sound when you turn them off click goes away but light stay blinking

I haven’t done that I’ll try tomorrow also is the relay in the steering column?

I just checked the wiring and the flasher switch is wired to the bcm/electrical control module which is under the dash. The output for the lights takes over from there. The turn signal goes direct to the steering column module and then onto the CAN/network. I would verify fuses relays but the two don't seem related.

Is it possible that it's in some type of crash mode?

Huge help thank you! I was thinking crash mode or something too but I figured it would have showed up on vcds and if they’re was an issue with the bcm itself it should have showed up too.

I had this happen when a key fob got wet. Try pulling the battery and use the other key if you have one.
