Allright, let's just start this out with me saying I know I'm a total dumbshit... BUT, a number of times (not a ton, but enough to matter) I've been sitting at a stop light, not really paying attention, and put my car into reverse thinking I was in 1st... luckily I'm not a total moron, and have always noticed before anything bad happened, but it got me thinking, there's got to be some way to hook up a small LED or something that would light up when you're in reverse. Does anyone have any ideas (other than not doing that anymore)? Maybe locating where the connection for the reverse lights come from and tapping in there? Maybe I could tap into the fuse for the reverse light? I haven't come up with any ideas yet that seemed like an obvious answer.... anyone else?

This or get that thing like trucks have, when you're in reverse you hear a sound - cheapest/easiest solution ;D
