Help with Guide Pins on rear Bosch caliper

Squashdaddy

I'm doing rear brakes and took the sliding guide pins out to clean and put new grease on them. I however, did not expect them to be different and can't remember which one goes on top and which on bottom.

As you can see, the one on the right is plain. The one on the left has a notch at the bottom where the black sleeve with blue stripes fits on. I don't know which goes on top and which goes on bottom.

Any help would be appreciated.

Late reply, but I did my brakes last weekend. I've done them a number of times so it's entirely possible I flipped them once before, but on mine, the bushing was on the bottom. Can't say for certain but not sure it matters. I just think one of the 2 needs to have more precision.

The guide pin with the rubber o ring goes on the bottom.

Not sure if...
i need to grease these at some point. I figure they've probably never been done. What's the general consensus? Copper grease? Silicon? Anti-seize (which I have plenty of)?

I'd be concerned about the tendency for anti-seize to congeal and lead to the slide pins not being able to move properly.
