Hmm... I am planning on buying exhaust soon, but unfortunately I won't have the money until after 4/15. So just out of curiosity, how much would you want to do a trade for stock?

However, even if you did do a trade for stock, could you revert your tune back to stock? Or would you still have to take it to a tuner?

Honestly, I'd probably look around $200 for the exhaust and trade...and possibly help with the install since it was the biggest pain I've ever had to deal with last time (and I had a lift).

Dont ask for "R8" packs, just the part number. But yes same coil packs for an R8 and 6 or 7 other models

yea you have to go get the ecu re-tuned to pass emissions to switch from a test pipe file to non test pipe file to pass emissions. just go to apr this sat and get re tuned and you will be fine, and besides its free if you go to bama which is alot closer to you.

if not maybe I might buy the rsc again and use this damn resonator that i bought for my old one before i sold it to Brandon lol, Iv caught the Brandon bug. ex. buy sell rebuy

Can a VW dealership re flash the ECU to stock? You'll lose the tune, but you could always get that added back later. Maybe even at SOWO.

What's up good people? My name is Jake and I have been on the forum for a while now but the rigors of work and my personal life have caused me to be somewhat absent from the forum, and for this I am deeply sorry (ok, a bit sorry). Long Story made short I moved here to TN from WI after military service and college and am currently working the beat here in Nashville. Upon moving here I met an amazing woman who's family happens to live in the Kennesaw/Woodstock area. We are both going back to School for Masters Degrees and changes in our careers. L.E is all I have ever done but I just have a desire for more than this field can offer me, and a better career for a family. We are moving to GA in July and will be living somewhere near GA State (one complex we looked at is called Glenwood East- was very nice!). I am a big GTI enthusiast and love working on and helping others with their cars. I am no mechanic like my father but I'm comfortable working on cars. I just wanted to give a shout out to all you guys and say that I look forward to the move and the change in scenery. This Summer is going to be great. I'm just a northern boy moving further south......:thumbup:


Just installed LED Tails and the H&R touring cup kit will be arriving today. I'm stoked! I look forward to Hanging out in the ATL and meeting some great people.

New HPA pendulum puck
Turbo outlet pipe
Throttle pipe
New rear bags
Dorbritz grill, new upper low line grill and new fog light grills(all have to be painted along with the skirts and rear valance)
Wheels are changing color and getting bigger lips

As long as they are the same as the front seat bolts, I have a bit that will work. Not a triple square, but a huge torx that worked fine for me..
