I clicked on $4000 to 4900 since that's what I spent on mine. I saw them, I wanted them, and I knew no other wheel was going to do it for me.
Those are nice wheels but you could go K04 for that kind of cash. :yikes:
Wheels are not necessarily "cosmetic". Some of us buy them to lighten unsprung, rotating mass.
An ECU flash will not make your car decelerate faster nor make your suspension more responsive.
And while a lighter wheel will not make a car accelerate quicker than an ECU-tuned one, it *will* be quicker than a stock ECU car with stock wheels.
Add in sticky tires and the "cosmetic" lighter wheel upgrade will also handle better than an ECU-tuned-only car.
I know. I've had both ECU-tuned-only and light-wheels-n-sticky-tires only. I'd opt for the latter EVERY time.
Good info right here. Most people don't understand that 3k invested into the right wheels/tires basically gives the same 'woah' feeling as investing 3k under the hood would
800 bucks has me putting down close to 300 lb ft of tq and 250 hp vs stock. You guys can have your imaginary comparable gains For 3k... Ill take the power, that the stock brakes and suspension handles just fine thanks..
Are you guys even tuned? If not, you don't even know what you are saying. So 50lbs of weight savings and better tires is the same as stage 1? APR will be out of biz in no time!
VMR is about as huh as I would go with wheels, plus they look sexy I'm fixing to order my VMR 705 in hyper silver for my shadow blue
